VISIBLE MARKS//MATERIAL REMAINS Exhibition

Future Labs is a creative programme that was devised by DAS to provide training and technical support for artists and creatives who wish to experiment with new and emerging technologies.

The Future Labs Foundation Residency emerged from our Future Labs workshop programme as a dedicated residency to support new or emerging artists. The Residency took place between September 2022 and April 2023, providing eight emerging artists with a substantial period for learning digital skills as well as time and technical support to produce new digital art work.

Our Future Labs Foundation Residency Artists are:

Chloe Austin, Charlie Beare, Karen Browett, Abra Dickson White, Petra Dominova, Fiona Gordon, Sylwia Migdal, Rachel Wakefield-Drohan.

The participating artists benefited from workshops delivered by digital artists and creative practitioners, enabling them to learn a range of digital technologies, to improve their digital skills, to update their knowledge and to boost confidence in the production of digital art.

The new work produced by the participating artists will be showcased at the Digital Arts Studios' new exhibition space, from Thursday 4th May until Thursday 1st June 2023.
