This will appeal to illustrators, graphic novelists and artists using drawing that wish to explore the possibilities of digital image composition and manipulation. The sessions combine introductions to Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with an investigation of the creative possibilities in using computers alongside other methods of drawing. Participants are invited to bring along their own drawings, images and ideas to explore how knowledge of image manipulation software can be used to enhance their individual practice. Although this class functions as a beginner’s guide to Photoshop and Illustrator it is advised that participants have some knowledge of the Apple Mac environment.

Duncan is the Creative Technician at DAS and a freelance illustrator.
