Miriam de Burca

This workshop is an intensive introduction to digital video editing using Apple’s Final Cut Pro, the industry standard editing software. Over three evenings participants will be introduced to the FCP interface, timeline layout, logging and capturing, tools, saving, filters, transitions, audio editing, adding titles and preparing footage for export. The course will be of particular interest to artists and students of art who wish to gain the initial practical tools for editing video. Participants are encouraged to bring their own video footage on CD, mini DV or memory stick.

Miriam is a professional artist and lecturer with extensive experience of using video in her practice.
