Rachel Wakefield-Drohan is a Dublin based artist whose
practice uses video, performance, sculpture and writing.
As a neurodiverse artist, her practice explores identity
and mediation of the self through fragmented inquiries
into language and the legibility of the body. Her work
seeks to destabilise what is considered ‘natural’ through
examinations of exteriority and subjectivity.
Rachel has recently completed a B.A. in Fine Art at Technological University Dublin in 2022. Prior to this she studied Film Studies at Trinity College Dublin. She has previously shown her work at Leitrim Sculpture Centre.
