The Annual Review will showcase a body of work by artists who have participated in the DAS residencies between February 2018 and January 2019.
Work produced by residents at DAS during the next residency period (October 2018 – January 2019) will be eligible for selection by an independent curatorial panel.
DAS is now accepting applications for the next Home Residency, which is open to artists based in UK and Ireland. We are also accepting applications to the VAI@DAS Award 2018 which will run concurrently. This four-month residency is open to members of Visual Artists Ireland.
The residencies offer the selected artists time to work on a specific project of their choice, develop their skills and artistic practice. We welcome proposals from artists from any background who engage with digital technologies to push the boundaries of their own practice and indeed, to a certain extent, the cultural world around us.
We have recently moved into spacious new premises at the Cathedral Buildings in central Belfast. Please note the new studios are based on the second floor but unfortunately there is no lift access.
DAS is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.
