Digital Communications Officer
Location: Home/Remote Working and Digital Arts Studios
Working Hours: Part-time, 14 hours a week
Salary: £965.60 per month
Contract: This is a freelance short-term contract commencing on the 2nd August 2021 ending on the 31st March 2022. A probationary period of 4 weeks will apply.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of on-line presence, communications and sales. This will include increasing DAS’s digital footprint in line with our audience development plan and developing DAS’s online presence, raising the profile and promoting Future Labs Workshops, online exhibitions and other programming activities through digital platforms.
This is an output and outcome driven post. The post-holder will be expected to develop baseline performance data and deliver against targets to include (in year 1):
Creating membership database and re-engaging current members
Improving reach across social media channels
Establishing baseline data on current performance
Achieving (at least) 500 new subscribers to E-Newsletter
Achieving (at least) 400 sales of on-line courses
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties of the post will include but are not limited to the following areas of work:
Own and develop the proactive digital marketing plan and content schedule, to build our audience and raise brand and cause awareness across our digital channels.
Develop digital content to promote DAS programmes on all platforms.
Maintaining and updating information on the DAS webpage.
Managing social media accounts including facebook, instagram & twitter.
Writing and publishing compelling email marketing campaigns.
Create and deliver positive and engaging content.
Visual assets - create an organised and annotated library of licensed visual assets (images and videos), which can be used to help market DAS and future projects and programmes.
