The DAS residency programme encourages and supports artists in the creation of innovative, challenging and experimental work by providing a creative hub with access to a range of facilities and resources. The residency programme is of significant benefit to the artists who take part. When asked in a recent survey of past artists in residence, if a DAS residency had advanced their artistic career, 91% answered yes.
The Home Residency offers artists four months to work on a specific project of their choice, developing skills and artistic practice. The next Home Residency period is June to September 2018, inclusive.
In a significant change to our programme, Digital Arts Studios will be presenting its inaugural Annual Review in March 2019 at the Golden Thread Gallery’s Project Space.
Work produced by artists resident at DAS during the next Home Residency period will be eligible for selection by the independent curatorial panel, providing the exciting opportunity to exhibit in one of Belfast’s foremost contemporary art galleries.
Deadline: 27th April 2018 (midnight).
Guidelines and more information on the Home Residency programme are available on the Residencies page.
