The Digital Arts Studios requires a research and marketing intern for three months to be responsible for designing and implementing a research project and marketing campaign.You will gain experience of working closely with DAS director Angela Halliday and the core staff team in a thriving creative environment.
DAS is a dynamic and unique artists’ studio facility. We run an exciting programme of exhibitions, talks and workshops as well as hosting artists from all over the world in our residency programme. DAS requires an intern to carry out research that will inform the organisation’s future development and to assist in marketing our programme effectively to raise the company’s profile.
The internship is unpaid but you will benefit from part-time, flexible working hours and from being able to take ownership of and responsibility for an important body of work. On completion of the project you will be able to evidence your skills and abilities and will have contributed to your CV and work experience. We do also cover travel costs and you will be given £5 a day towards your lunch.
We are looking for an intern who can start as soon as possible and can commit for a minimum of three days per week, for three months.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- An Interest in and knowledge of marketing
- Excellent knowledge of social media websites/apps
- Strong communication skills - advanced written and verbal English
- Organised and approachable
- An interest in developing administrative and office management skills
- Experience of working with MS office essential
- Experience of working with Photoshop and InDesign desirable but not essential
