EXHIBITION OPEN CALL
DAS is excited to announce a unique opportunity for visual artists based in Northern Ireland. DAS will support one artist to have a solo exhibition in February/March 2024 for the duration of 4 weeks at our 1st floor exhibition space. The selected artist will receive a fee of £1000.
The work should include or feature some digital element but does not have to be exclusively digital. i.e. multimedia works are acceptable. Proposed work cannot have been previously exhibited. The successful artist will deliver a public presentation on their practice during the course of the exhibition.
The DAS exhibition space is approximately 30m2. Located on the first floor, the interior of the space can be modified to your specifications. Please note there is no lift access in the building.
YOUR PROPOSAL
1. Provide a detailed overview of the work in terms of your concept, methodology and how you envision exhibiting it.
2. Describe what stage the work is currently at with up to 5 relevant images / links.
3. Please identify any equipment/ materials you may require to produce / exhibit the work. DAS has a small budget for equipment / materials for the exhibition. See our current range of audio-visual equipment.
4. Please submit a CV with up to 5 relevant links to websites / previous work etc.

A shortlist of artists’ proposals will be selected by a panel consisting of Catherine Devlin, Richard Davis, and Angela Halliday. Finalists will be invited to discuss their proposals with the panel.
