Digital Arts Studios, in collaboration with BETA Festival, Ireland, is delighted to announce a new immersive arts residency in Belfast.

Artist LAUREN MOFFATT has been awarded the S+T+ARTS4Water II Challenge and STARTS Residency in association with BETA Festival & ADAPT/ Dublin, Ireland, to work with Digital Arts Studios and the Port of Belfast.

A new exhibition Lab Work launches on Friday 17th January, presenting the successes of our XR Lab since April 2024.

We are excited to announce that Our Guest International Artist in Residence 2023, Allison Maria Rodriguez, is currently exhibiting a public art video installation at Moynihan Train Hall in Penn Station, NYC.

Our XR Lab will be hosting an information session on the new Immersive Arts programme which will be awarding £3.6 million in grant funding to artists based in the UK between 2024 and 2027.

Artists will have the opportunity to speak with an Arts Council Officer in relation to the Individual Artists Digital Evolution Award which is currently open until Friday 28th June.

The Arts Council Ireland (ACI) launched its Digital Arts Policy at Beta Festival on Friday 3 November 2023 with an overview of the policy, followed by a panel conversation with art and technology collectives from around Ireland on the opportunities and challenges in working with digital technologies within creative practice.

This is an open call to those with an interest in the arts.
