Projection Mapping using TouchDesigner
Projection mapping is a method used to turn objects into display surfaces.
This workshop introduces participants to the technique and the requirements and assets associated with it. VPT8 an open source software and TouchDesigner a more complex application will be used to explore the topic.
We begin with a talk and demonstration on projection mapping. All those taking part will have a chance to try the process and are encouraged to bring along content they want to project such as images and videos.
The software used in this session is freely available to download and the set up will not be overly complex so you do not need a super computer to take part.
Please note: Participants are asked to bring their own laptop. Alternatively email DAS before booking if you need access to a computer to participate in the workshop.
The workshop costs £30 and places are limited.
To book your place, please email richard@digitalartsstudios.com
Your place will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
